NEWS: Brad Lander Leads Mayoral Race in Club Endorsements
Lander receives most club endorsements in Manhattan’s coveted west side, expands his long-time base in Brooklyn
NEW YORK, NY — Further advancing his lead in the mayoral race, Brad Lander has secured the most Democratic club endorsements of any other candidate to date. Lander’s impressive count of club endorsements both strengthen his deep-rooted ties to Brooklyn and confirm his strong support into Manhattan, particularly in the borough’s coveted west side. Lander’s commanding lead securing 67% of the vote from two powerful Democratic clubs in a crowded field of mayoral hopefuls cements his status as the clear frontrunner to beat Eric Adams and Andrew Cuomo in the June primary.
“New York City’s Democratic clubs are home to some of the most politically engaged people in the City, and earning their overwhelming support in the race to City Hall lends further credibility to the strength of our campaign,” said Brad Lander. “I’m honored to receive the endorsement of so many clubs in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, which will add to our momentum, broad coalition of support, and organizing capabilities across the city.”
Manhattan Clubs
NEW: Broadway Democrats: Lander secured an impressive 67% of the Broadway Dems vote, the official club in the 69th Assembly District, Part C, which covers Morningside Heights and parts of Manhattan Valley, southwest Harlem, and Manhattanville.
Three Parks Independent Democrats: The prominent Upper West Side democratic club has organized on behalf of candidates and issues for nearly half a century.
Village Independent Democrats: Lander again secured an impressive 67% of the VID vote, one of the longest-standing reform Democratic clubs in the City established in 1957.
NEW: Hell’s Kitchen Democrats: The Hell’s Kitchen club boasts 240 members and previously endorsed Lander for Comptroller in 2021.
Upper West Side Action Group: A political chapter of both Swing Left and Indivisible that boasts over 7,500 members, UWS Action Group has sponsored almost 400 events, and completed almost 11,000 volunteer shifts since their inception in 2017.
Brooklyn Clubs

In these challenging times, we need a leader who is both progressive and pragmatic—someone who can deliver real solutions while staying true to our values. That leader is Brad Lander."
